Regina

When you look up the word host in the dictionary, more than likely you will see a picture of Regina. Dictionary.com states that the origin of the word host is “one granting hospitality, one in charge of guests,” and according to Regina’s family that is exactly who she is. Regina's daughter said, “No one deserves this more than my mom. She has given and given to others and she will finally receive her harvest.”

For several years Regina has dreamt of having her own home, but often felt as though she would not qualify. “I have always wanted a home where I could truly entertain the ones I love,” Regina said with a warm smile. “I just never thought as a housekeeper that I could make that happen.” When she received the phone call that she had been accepted into the program and indeed would be receiving a home, she let out the biggest joyful scream of any family yet.

Regina would like to thank everyone who has played a part in making this time in her life a joyous one. She wants to thank all of her family for their support, Middle Tennessee State University and Whittlemania for sponsoring her home, all of the volunteers for their hard work, and God for his abundant blessings!
