Thank you Charity Chopped Founder Shannon Wheeler and the 2019 Charity Chopped Committee!
Charity Chopped in the ‘Boro partners with three very special local charities that help provide food, shelter and clothing to people in Rutherford County. Second Harvest Food Bank, Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity, and Amelia’s Closet. We help them raise money for their organizations by hosting a cooking competition and dining event.
We create cooking teams to represent each charity. The teams are made up of celebrity “chefs” and ACTUAL chefs. They wage a spirited and hard fought culinary battle that takes place in front of a live audience. The winning team gets an extra $5,000 for their charity!
This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 dollars! Not only will our charities be competing against each other during the competition, BUT they are competing right now to raise the most money to give their team an advantage during the event. Each charity will receive the funds raised by their team.
You can help them,
